Manchester United supporters were left dismayed by Marcos Rojo‘s performance in their side’s 1-0 defeat to Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The 26-year-old, making his first appearance of the season, looked dramatically out of place all evening, notably lacking positional sense, awareness and mobility.
Man United fans were quick to vent their frustration surrounding the Argentinian.
Rojo not doing much to suggest Shaw won't continue to be first-choice left-back. Or provide a reason for why Borthwick-Jackson is at Wolves.

Dull half but it's to be expected with eight changes in a Europa League game. Rojo is still bad. #mufc

Rojo doesn't seem to understand much of what's going on in a football match. It's actually quite impressive how lost he seems at times.

Not sure what's more baffling. That we've appointed David Moyes to replace Fergie or that Marcos Rojo played in a World Cup final.

Rojo is a proper waste of time

The game against Feyenoord served as an opportunity for Rojo to impose themselves on the starting XI, potentially challenging the infallibility of Luke Shaw in the left-back spot.
However, what United fans saw was a man monumentally out of his depth, sapped of confidence, speed and, most notably, game-time. Feyenoord’s goal, whilst painfully offside, stemmed from the Argentinian’s poor decision to ghost up the pitch, followed by an inability to recover his position.
He did nothing to challenge the first choice status of Shaw – an effervescent force on the left hand side so far this season – and prompted supporters into wondering whether Jose Mourinho accidentally loaned the wrong left-back to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
