The Spaniard possesses a spectacular attitude and has the characteristics of a true Man United player.
He started the Europa League clash against Feyenoord and will be hoping to force his way into the starting XI on a regular basis.
Speaking about his chances, Herrera claims he is a complete team player.
“My qualities. You all know them,” he said.
“I have already played 76 games in this club so you will know them. The only thing I can say is that I am a team player. I am going to be ready when the manager wants me to play. Of course, every player wants to play from the kick-off in every game but, when you play for this club, that’s not so easy. I will be ready when the manager wants me to play.
“That’s why I train, that’s why I work hard, that’s why I take care of myself and I will keep doing the same. I have made mistakes because I am human and I can do that but what I am not going to do is give up, never.”
I’ve been delighted with Herrera’s recent performances and it has been brilliant to see him back in action again at Man United.
With Mourinho currently opting for the 4-3-3 formation, the Spaniard could have a big role to play this season at Old Trafford.
Hopes are he is given the chance to prove his ability in the Premier League as he certainly thinks he’ll be up to the challenge at Vicarage Road.
