Manchester United will play Manchester City in the 4th round of the EFL Cup.

Both sides played at Old Trafford on September 10 in the Premier League, but Jose Mourinho‘s side will be at home once again on October 24.

United came to a 2-1 defeat as goals from Kevin De Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho handed the visitors the victory and three points.

It’s set to be another action-packed fixture and fans will be hoping the Portuguese boss has learnt from his mistakes the first time round.

The club had started the season well and the Manchester derby was the wrong time to make changes to the squad and bring in new players.

Jesse Lingard had been out of action for over a month while Henrikh Mkhitaryan was rushed back into action prematurely after picking up an injruy.

Mourinho still has plenty of decisions left to make regarding his squad, where to place an in-form Marcus Rashford, who to play alongside Paul Pogba and what to do with captain Wayne Rooney.

Hopes are he’s able to get everything in order at the club before United come up against Pep Guardiola’s side next month.
