Jose Mourinho has singled out Eric Bailly for extra praise after Manchester United’s 4-1 victory over Leicester City.
Many believed it would take him to adapt to life in England, but he has been one of our standout performers already this season.
He has continuously impressed with his composed performances and Mourinho is delighted with how quickly he has gotten settled at Old Trafford compared to other players.
“I am always positive We worked so much and so well that my expectations are always high. I always think that the team is going to play very well,” he said.
“Some guys adapt quickly. Eric Bailly comes from a different competition, a different dimension of club, an African player and he is not experienced at this level. He looks very comfortable at such a big club. Other guys it is different for them.”
Bailly was absolutely solid once again against Leicester and has quickly cemented his place in the starting XI under Mourinho.
He’s been one of our best players so far and his presence on the pitch is always felt as he takes control of the back line.
We may see him rested this week against Zorya, but he will undoubtedly play a vital role against Stoke City.
