David de Gea has sent a message to Manchester United fans after their 4-1 victory over Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

Jose Mourinho’s side headed into the fixture with two consecutive Premier League defeats, but turned their luck around at Old Trafford with one of our most convinvng victories since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

Mourinho opted to leave Wayne Rooney on the bench in favour of Juan Mata in the No.10 role and a change in tactics saw his side start the game in control.

After the game, De Gea took to social media to remind fans Man United were back in town.

He’s been relatively quiet this season and seems set on trying to build his career under Mourinho at Old Trafford.

De Gea has kept two clean sheets in six games for United this season and can’t be blamed for a majority of the goals scored against him so far.

There isn’t as much pressure on him this season as United’s back four have been bolstered by Eric Bailly arrival and Luke Shaw‘s return, but he has consistently performed and will always play a vital role on our side.
