Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to make his Manchester United comeback against Zorya Luhansk, according to reports.
Jose Mourinho’s side are looking to get their Europa League campaign back on track after losing to Feyenoord and have been handed a big injury boost as Mkhitaryan is now back in training.
He suffered a thigh injury playing for Armenia earlier this month and was rushed back into action too early against Manchester City on September 10.
The 27-year-old has missed the club’s last four games but will be looking forward to getting some minutes under his belt.
It’s great to see him recovering quickly and it was a big mistake on Mourinho’s part to rush him back when he wasn’t match fit.
The Portuguese boss needs to continue easing him into life in England, it took him a while to adapt to his move to Borussia Dortmund, but once everything fell in place, he was voted as the Bundesliga Player of the Year.
Mkhitaryan will have a vital role to play at Man United and once he’s found his feet, will open up plenty of attacking options with his ability to play anywhere along the front four.
