Henrikh Mkhitaryan trains ahead of FC Zorya clash

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has trained with Manchester United on Wednesday morning in what is our final session ahead of our game with FC Zorya.

The Armenian midfielder last played for Manchester United in the derby where he was taken off after 45 minutes but now looks ready to return to action.

Having scored four goals against FC Zorya previously when he was at Shakhtar Donetsk, Mkhitaryan knows how to bag against the Ukrainian side and Man United fans are keen to see him get into full flow at the club having seen him stutter in an injury riddled beginning.

Mkhitaryan can play in a variety of positions but I’d prefer to see him in the No.10 role behind whoever is playing as United’s striker, that’s where he’s likely to be dangerous. He certainly has more pace and guile while dribbling than any other player we could play there.

The impact of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Eric Bailly has been profound on United’s team but there are some who feel that Mkhitaryan could be our most important signing when he gets into full swing.
