Henrikh Mkhitaryan promises plenty of goals for Man United when he’s fit

Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is now back in training and has promised plenty of goals once he is fully fit.

The Armenian has been unlucky with injuries since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund this summer, so is yet to get properly started at Man United having had to spend so much time on the sidelines injured.

After being given his first start for the club in the Manchester derby, the 27-year old had to be replaced at half time as the high intensity football saw him aggravate an injury and unfortunately he’s not fit enough to play Zorya Luhansk tonight.

That being said, Mkhitaryan has certainly got a smile on his face now he’s back in training.

And he’s promised there are going to be plenty of goals from him when he’s up and running properly again.

Mkhitaryan, who was one the the key players instrumental in Dortmund’s success over the last few years, will be looking forward to replicating that form with United and I know I can’t wait. As good as Jesse Lingard is for United, Mkhitaryan is on another level – last year he contributed to 50 goals for Dortmund, in one season, that’s phenomenal. Imagine how much more potent our attack will be with a player like that in it?

United have already demonstrated their attacking prowess last week with a 4-1 win over Leicester City but the introduction of Mkhitaryan could help us take it up to another level.
