David de Gea has been pictured in good spirits during training with the Spanish national side ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Italy later today.
The Spaniard is in line to make his 16th appearance for La Roja, and could go up against fellow teammate Matteo Darmian for the clash in Juventus.
Julen Lopetegui’s side will also take on Albania in Tirana next week.
De Gea was pictured with Chelsea striker Diego Costa ahead of what promises to be a mouth-watering clash against the side that knocked them out of Euro 2016 just a few months ago.

It is an immensely exciting time for De Gea: he is the first choice option for both club and country, playing under two new managers – Mourinho and Lopetegui – with forward thinking, energetic styles, and at just 25, plenty of fruitful years lie ahead of him.
A poor error against Stoke City – a fumble that cost Manchester United an important three points – acted as his first appearance under the spotlight this season. The Spaniard had been, up to that point, a reliable but largely uninvolved presence in this Man United side.
United fans will hope that De Gea doesn’t occupy the headlines this season, and instead acts as a bystander whilst the likes of Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic assert their dominance in the Premier League.
