Marcus Rashford has won Manchester United’s Player of the Month award for September after scoring three goals in six games.
He found the back of the net against Watford, Northampton Town and Leicester City – and has continued his impressive rise at Old Trafford.
The striker has impressed Jose Mourinho and Man United fans with his direct approach and pace to get the ball forward.
After tens of thousands of fans voted in the official poll, Rashford won with 75% of the votes.
He has now been recalled for England’s senior squad after scoring a hat-trick on his England U21s debut under current interim manager Gareth Southgate.
Rashford has been involved in nine of the 11 games so far this season and despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s arrival at Old Trafford, has worked his way into the starting XI once again with his impressive showings.
It’s the second time he’s won the monthly award and hopes are the Englishman is able to keep his fairytale story rolling after being shortlisted for the 2016 Golden Boy award.
