Luke Shaw has enjoyed a short holiday in Paris before returning to training with Manchester United this week.
The youngster has been sidelined for four games after picking up a hamstring injury against Watford, but is in line for a return to Jose Mourinho‘s starting XI for the visit to Anfield next week.
Shaw was not included in Gareth Southgate’s first England side after being declared not 100% fit going into the international break.
As a result, the Englishman took a trip to the ‘City of Lights’ before returning to Carrington for a crucial week of preparation.

Daley Blind, to his credit, has done an excellent job in covering for Shaw in recent weeks – most notably during the trouncing of Leicester City last month.
But even the Dutchman, for all his splendid craft and supreme composure, cannot fully encapsulate the sheer brilliance brought by Shaw. The 21-year-old’s effervescence at full-back can sometimes only be fully recognised when he is absent through injury, especially when Man United fans end up watching Marcos Rojo cluelessly trudge around the pitch for 90 minutes.
His return, just before United’s visit to Anfield, could not come at a better time. Jurgen Klopp’s side will undoubtedly look to go for the jugular, and Shaw’s immense discipline and energy serves as the ideal antidote to what will most likely be a furious early onslaught.
