Lots was said about Tahith Chong before Manchester United signed him from Feyenoord this summer.
The 16-year-old winger was on the radar of lots of clubs but it was Man United who managed to secure his signature and he’s got off to a superb start in Manchester.
In his first seven appearances for United, Chong has been a bit of an assist machine with five assists and a goal. Today away to Wolves, Chong was on fire as well – he scored and got another assist in a first half rout which saw United score five goals. In the second half, United took their foot off the gas and Chong was substituted before the hour mark.

To see Chong settle down so quickly in England is excellent and I hope he can continue in the same form across the course of the whole year. Just like Timothy Fosu-Mensah did when he joined, Chong looks like a real prospect.
United’s U18s are looking red hot this season. Indy Boonen, Chong and Angel Gomes have all been on fire and new U18s boss Kieran McKenna has certainly got off to the right start. We’ve now scored five or more goals on four occasions already and are scoring for fun – that’s what you want to see our youngsters doing.
