Jose Mourinho bans Bastian Schweinsteiger from Man United’s reserves – reports

Jose Mourinho has banned Bastian Schweinsteiger from playing football with Manchester United’s reserves, according to reports.

The Portuguese boss has already sent Schweinsteiger away from the first-team after being told he was not in Mourinho’s plans at Old Trafford.

Schweinsteiger had been keeping up his fitness with a coach and would have wanted to keep his body in shape ahead of finding a new club.

His latest setback is due to reserve boss Warren Joyce requesting for the World Cup winner’s services in the Under-23 Premier League.

It’s all gone from bad to worse for Bastian and at this point it seems he should have just accepted his summer move away from Old Trafford.

Even though Mourinho has struggled to find his best XI at the club, he won’t be enlisting the help of Bastian, who could have been the brilliant candidate to help guide Paul Pogba in the midfield.

It remains to be seen how the situation will plan out, but with Bastian suffering another setback in his career under Mourinho, there doesn’t seem like there’s much of a chance of him fighting his way back into the side.
