Manchester United fans furious with Jose Mourinho’s decisions against Burnley

Manchester United fans were left furious with Jose Mourinho‘s decisions during the club’s 0-0 draw against Burnley.

He left Henrikh Mkhitarayn out of his squad once again and fans expected to see him in action after the Portuguese boss previously revealed he was 100% fit.

Mourinho then boss substituted Juan Mata off for Marouane Fellaini in the second-half, even though the Spaniard hadn’t put a single foot wrong throughout the entire game.

Here’s what fans had to say about Mourinho’s decisions on social media.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was left on the pitch throughout the whole game, despite missing a majority of his shots, however many were down to Tom Heaton‘s spectacular saves.

It just makes you think how the game could have ended if we had Mkhitarayn on the right-wing and Rashford playing up front, could it have been what we needed? We’ll never know, but the Armenian would have been perfect solution against Burnley and his exclusion doesn’t make any sense.

Mourinho was sent into the stands during the second-half and while he can’t be blamed for our players’ poor finishing, he has to take responsibility for his decisions and substitutions, which have now left the club eight points off the top of the table.
