Jose Mourinho has doubts whether Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be able to handle the style of the Premier League, according to reports.

Supporters have grown frustrated with the Portuguese boss after his decision to exclude Mkhitaryan from his recent matchday squads.

Mourinho has previously claimed Mkhitarayn is 100% fit, but has continued to leave him out, even though the side would drastically imrpove with his attacking talent.

ESPN writer Miguel Delaney claims there is a specific type of management in place for the Armenian.

It’s an odd situation at Old Trafford and it’s hard to believe Mourinho has spent over £25 million on a player he is still not convinced by.

Mkhitaryan wasn’t the Bundesliga’s Player of the Season for no reason and if he has any chance of replicating his form in the Premier League, he needs minutes under his belt and the backing of his manager.

The Burnley clash was the perfect opportunity to ease him back into football and it was surprising to see he wasn’t even included on the bench.

Ruben Hayrapetyan, the president of the Armenian FA has confirmed Mkhitarayn still doesn’t know why Mourinho has left him out and it will undoubtedly be a frustrating situation for him under the Portuguese boss.
