Paul Pogba has revealed he was mad with Manchester United’s Premier League draw against Burnley over the weekend.
The Frenchman put in a solid shift at Old Trafford, arguably one of his best, and could have easily racked up 3-4 assists if he wasn’t let down by his teammates.
Speaking after the game, Pogba claims he’ll be looking to do better against Fenerbahce.
“I was mad too, but, you know, that’s the game,” he said.
“To be honest, I feel like I’ve lost when I tie, but that’s just the game, you know? You just have to think about the next game and do better.”
Pogba massively improved in the second-half and was creating chances, crossing in ball after ball for his teammates.
United have now only won one of their last seven Premier League fixtures, earning six points from a possible 21.
Mourinho’s squad face Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday before a trip to Swansea on Sunday and hopes are the Portuguese boss can get the campaign back on track.
