Highlights: Paul Pogba, Man United 0-0 Burnley, 29 Oct 2016

by Leo Nieboer

Paul Pogba produced an emphatic display for Manchester United during their 0-0 draw with Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Frenchman, deployed in midfield alongside Ander Herrera and Juan Mata, was at the heart of Man United’s onslaught all afternoon, producing a series of perfectly placed passes and clever turns.

He would have picked up four of five assists if it wasn’t for the woefully out-of-form Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who failed to take advantage of the 23-year-old’s excellent vision. This was Pogba doing what he does best, and the Frenchman deserved to be on a winning side.

Here is a highlight reel revealing the extent of Pogba’s domination on Saturday.

That’s the real Pogba, the one we’re itching to see every week and that will definitely come with time. Game by game his confidence is growing and if United’s finishing could start to match that level of performance from Pogba then we’ll begin sweeping teams aside.
