Manchester United consider recalling Cameron Borthwick-Jackson – report

by Abhishek Chaudhuri

Manchester United’s injury woes at the back could force Jose Mourinho to recall Cameron Borthwick-Jackson from his loan spell, according to reports.

The Man United starlet, who managed to cap 14 games for the first-team last season, hasn’t received much game time since his loan move to Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers and could soon find himself back at Old Trafford.

Eric Bailly and Antonio Valencia are on the treatment table while full-back Luke Shaw has just come back after an injury, which leaves United with a shaky back line.

Though not very experienced, the 19-year-old had a taste of Premier League football last season and recalling him from loan may be forced upon Mourinho should his side fail to show any consistency in coming games.

With Feherbahce up next followed by Swansea City, United’s coming fixtures will decide whether or not Borthwick-Jackson will be recalled from his loan, but we hope irrespective of the 19-year-old’s future, United put in strong displays in coming weeks to get their season back on track.
