Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to goalscoring ways after Swansea show

Zlatan Ibrahimovic got back to goalscoring ways with a superb performance in Manchester United’s convincing win over Swansea City.

The Swedish striker grabbed Manchester United’s second goal of the game with a well taken strike from the edge of the box and made it 3-0 before half-time after making no mistake when put through on goal.

Having not scored since September 10, Zlatan had come into plenty of criticism and that performance today was the perfect response from somebody who really did need to pull their socks up.

There was a sour note as Ibrahimovic’s needless yellow card in the second half means he is suspended for Man United’s game against Arsenal in a couple of weeks. Step forward Marcus Rashford.

However, looking strictly at his performance today against Swansea I’m happy to see Ibrahimovic back to goalscoring ways. I was a real critic during his run of games without scoring but he was clinical today and that’s what we need to see from him in every game.

Swansea definitely made it easy because they were woeful but Ibrahimovic made the most of his chances. With Paul Pogba in total control and Ibrahimovic finishing his dinner, United were comfortable for pretty much the whole 90 minutes.

Plus, Zlatan gave us one of the photos of the season as well which was ace.
