Paul Pogba has been pictured with Manchester United target and France teammate Antoine Griezmann ahead of the November international break.
The pair will feature in a World Cup qualifier against Sweden on November 11 before hosting the Ivory Coast for a friendly on 15 November.
Pogba was pictured sharing a hug with Greizmann – or Gringuito, as the 23-year-old calls him – earlier this week.
The bromance developing between these two has risen exponentially in recent months. Listening to Griezmann discuss the Euros, and how the two supported eachother following widespread criticism in the wake of France’s game with Romania, you can notice a genuine bond. Pogba, despite being two years younger, acts as a warm, benevolent figure, like an astonishingly laid-back, universally admired teacher, watching over the introverted talent of Griezmann.
Indeed, the bond on the pitch is just as potent: a mixture of Pogba’s superb passing range and Griezmann’s elusive velocity makes for a truly dangerous partnership. The prospect of seeing the pair wreak havoc together in the Premier League is, as most Man United fans would agree, somewhat tantalising.
