Paul Pogba has been showing off his skills in training whilst on international duty with France.
Didier Deschamps’ side face Sweden in a World Cup qualifier this Saturday before welcoming the Ivory Coast for a friendly on November 15th.
The 23-year-old was videoed bringing down a long pass with the outside part of his foot, juggling the ball, and then launching a thunderous volley.
The swathe of derision thrown in Pogba’s direction hasn’t ceased since he officially rejoined Man United back in August. Then again, such is the nature of football today: we live in world where Arsenal fans will spend their Tuesday morning tweeting about how Pogba is just a ‘dabbing Sissoko’, and we don’t even view it as absurd anymore.
Pogba himself, however, never seems bothered by the cacophony of slander aimed in his direction. Then again: why should he be? After all, nobody understands the true talent of Pogba better than the man himself. He possesses an aura of unshakeable confidence, an absolute belief in his own ability. He may be just 23, but the Frenchman comes across as someone who has dominated the European stage for years.
