The 19-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable rise to prominence after only making his first senior appearance for Man United in February.
He has cemented his place in Man United’s starting XI and has established himself as a regular member of the England squad in recent times.
Speaking about his teammate, Herrera claims many joke about how much money is coming his way.
“We wind him up with, ‘How much money are you going to make?’ because he just has everything,” he said.
“He’s quick, he shoots well off both feet. People have to be aware that he is 19 years old. We can’t be asking him to score 40 goals. We have to be patient. There will bad times but there will be more good times because he is so good.
“And he is a humble kid who knows how tough it is to make it and is very respectful to players who have been at the club for longer.”
Supporters believe his talent is being wasted out on the wing as he has been pushed out of position with summers signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic now leading the line.
He has only managed three Premier League goals in eight appearances, but he’s been playing out wide and is only at the start of his bright career at Old Trafford.
If he’s this good at 19, then I can’t wait to see how good he can go on to become after some development and guidance from Zlatan.
