He has been out of favour with Mourinho in recent times as the Portuguese boss criticised Shaw, alongside defender Chris Smalling as the pair made themselves unavailable for Man United’s clash with Swansea two weekends ago due to fitness concerns.
However, Shaw has posted a video to his Instagram page of a selection of resistance exercises as he hopes to get back into Mourinho’s good books and reclaim his spot in the first-team.
He captioned the video: “Ticking over on my weekend off.”

Mourinho questioned Shaw’s lack of commitment after his unwillingness to play through the pain barrier and it’s brilliant to see him keeping fit ahead of the Arsenal clash next weekend.
He was left sidelined for seven months after breaking his leg against PSV in September 2015 and reports claim he suffered a problem with the same leg once again.
He’s been through a practice match in front of Mourinho last Friday against the club’s Under-23s side and following his recent video, will be ready to go once Arsenal visit Old Trafford on 19 November.
