Antoine Griezmann has spoken out about Paul Pogba once again amid Manchester United transfer links.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford and reports claim he is at the top of Jose Mourinho‘s transfer list.
Paul Scholes has also recently urged his former club to pursue a move for the forward as the Frenchman would me make a great addition at Old Trafford.
Speaking about the players he would look up to were he still a teenager, Griezmann reserved special praise for Pogba.
“I think I’d be a fan of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar but also Paul, of course,” he said.
“Pogba is a player we see a lot, and someone who shines on the pitch and off it.”
Pogba joined Man United in a world-record move from Juventus during the summer and despite a shaky start to life back in England, has always received support from Griezmann.
After building up their friendship while playing for France, the pair have always been linked, especially following Griezmann’s comments about playing alongside Pogba at club level.
Will we see him at Man United? It all depends on whether Diego Simeone stays at Atletico Madrid.
