Manchester United fans were delighted with Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s performance against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday night.
The Armenian was introduced in the second-half for Jesse Lingard and produced a controlled performance once again.
Following his spectacular showing against Feyenoord in the Europa League earlier in the week, Mourinho brought him into play in the Premier League for the first time since the Manchester derby in September.
Here’s what fans on social media had to say about his performance.
Can't bring Mkhitaryan on in games like these. He needs to start to gain rhythm. Struggling.

How could you not start Rooney and Mkhitaryan after the way they played on Thursday? Jose's a strange man.

It was brilliant to see him back in action, but some supporters were left frustrated with his inclusion as he struggled at times and Mourinho claimed earlier in the week that Mkhitaryan has found it hard to adapt to the intensity of the Premier League.
With Mkhitarayn slowly being deployed in the Premier League, hopes are he can make his mark on the side and attempt to cement his place in the starting XI.
He almost found his first Premier League goal, but was ruled offside by the linesmen and although I’d love for Mkhitarayn to feature in each game, it seems like Mourinho will be set on building up his intensity rather than throwing him into the deep end because we all saw how that played out against Man City.
