Galatasaray winger Bruma has revealed his conversation with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho last summer.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford and has five goals in 13 appearances for the Turkish side so far this season.
The 22-year-old has previously admitted his desire to play in the Premier league and has 18 months left on his current contract.
Speaking about his situation, he claims it’s nice to feel wanted by an important manager.
“I feel that an important manager is interested in me is very nice and it’s a great feeling that he cares about me,” he said speaking to Turkish website Fanatik.
“I have to do great things at Galatasaray to open the doors. I think it’s early to think about it.”
Man United played Galatasaray in pre-season and Mourinho allegedly had a private word with Bruma ahead of kick-off.
He has been at the club since 2013 and although he is not expecting a move in January, admits he needs to continue his good form before England becomes a possibility.
United will always continue to be linked with big names, but it seems the Bruma situation has already escalated past the point of just simple speculation.
