Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given his thoughts following Manchester United’s important 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Swede – quite literally – had a helping hand in Man United’s opening goal, seemingly using a part of his arm to control the ball for Paul Pogba to sweep home on the stroke of half-time.
James McArthur’s 66th minute goal looked set to condemn Mourinho’s men to further misery in the Premier League, but Ibrahimovic’s wonderfully taken late goal after 88 minutes handed the visitors all three points.
Ibrahimovic, speaking to MUTV, was in good spirits after netting his eight goal in as many games for United.

This was a textbook striker’s performance from Zlatan – a display oozing with experience and a serial winning mentality.
The Swede acted as a potent reference point all evening, calmly holding up the ball, drawing defenders and creating space that he expertly exploited with pin-point passes. His unyielding power kept United on the front foot all evening.
And then came his big moment: Zlatan, in similar fashion to United’s 2-0 win over Zorya Luhansk last week, barely had a sight of goal all evening, but then came Paul Pogba‘s sublime defence-splitting pass. What happened next was inevitable.
