Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Manchester United have not received a singled offer for a player that they will accept in the January transfer window.
The only confirmed bid that we’ve heard of so far is from West Brom on Morgan Schneiderlin, as Tony Pulis confirmed his interest in the Frenchman once again.
Man United have been terrible at selling players under the likes of David Moyes and Louis van Gaal, but it seems Mourinho won’t budge until he gets what he wants.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the Middlesbrough clash, Mourinho revealed he has no intention of selling his players.
“I don’t want to sell players,” he said.
“The club, the board, are totally with me – they don’t want to sell players. But as I told before, if a player is not having lots of minutes and if a player really wants to leave we have no right to stop the player to leave – if the conditions are our conditions.
“And until this moment we have not received one single offer that we are going to accept.”
Mourinho will only allow members of the first-team squad to leave on permanent transfers if the conditions are correct for all parties.
He’s in no position to have to sell players and will only be looking for the right price, especially if Premier League sides are involved.
