Patrice Evra has refused to rule out a return to Manchester United after posting a response to the transfer speculation on his Instagram account.
The Times claim he is keen on a move back to Old Trafford and would leave Juventus if Man United came calling for him in the January transfer window.
Rio Ferdinand fuelled speculation of a potential transfer after he asked Evra on social media if speculation surrounding a potential move was true or not.
And in his own message to supporters, Evra wrote: “Only my monkey knows what will happening next. I love this game.”
Evra has started just nine games this season, with only six of them in the Champions League, but has told friends he’d join Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford if the opportunity presented itself.
As he enters the latter stages of his career, having Evra back at United would be brilliant, but there are doubts over whether he’d be able to adapt to life in the Premier League once again, especially after his time with Juventus.
One thing is for sure, and he’s a real leader, with the ability to take control of Mourinho’s makeshift backline if a deal was to go through in the January transfer window.
