Patrice Evra’s agent speaks out about a potential Manchester United move

Patrice Evra’s agent has spoken out about a potential move to Manchester United in the January transfer window.

The Frenchman has been heavily linked with a Juventus exit after making just nine starts for Juventus so far this season.

The Times also claimed he wanted an Old Trafford return with Jose Mourinho keen on acquiring his services at left-back this month.

However, speaking about a potential move, his agent, Federico Pastorello, claims reports linking him with an exit aren’t certain.

“It’s not certain he will leave Juventus. We’ll see what happens over the next few days,” he said.

Evra hinted he could leave the Italian champions in order to find more regular first-team football, but would he really start at Old Trafford?

His arrival at United would undoubtedly be a massive boost for the squad as he’s still a big figure at the club and has a strong bond with Paul Pogba, but he left the club while his performances were dipping and there are still doubts over whether he can adapt to the intensity of football in England once again.

It remains to be seen whether a move will work out but Evra is a leader that Mourinho’s makeshift defence is in desperate need of.
