Manchester United fans have had a mixed reaction on Marouane Fellaini‘s contract extension until summer 2018.
The Belgian has endured a tough time at Old Trafford since his arrival on deadline day in 2013 and hasn’t been able to win over supporters with his performances.
Man United fans chanted his name at Old Trafford after his turn around just six weeks on from when he conceded a late penalty in a 1-1 draw at Everton and his official extension was announced on Thursday morning.
Here’s what fans on social media had to say about the news of his extension.

Fans have been quite harsh with Fellaini’s performances at United, as he executes exactly what the manager wants of him, and although he has made some mistakes, he’s proven to Mourinho that he deserves a chance at United.
It remains to be seen whether he’ll have a massive impact at Old Trafford, but he seems set on turning his career around under the Portuguese boss.
