Ibrahimovic was ill against Hull City and was left at home while Rojo pulled up with a calf problem in the first half of Man United’s 4-0 victory over Reading in the FA Cup third round on Saturday.
The Portuguese boss has previously stated he is confident Ibrahimovic will be back in time, but he’s unsure over whether Rojo will be fit to play in Sunday’s fixture against Jurgen Klopp’s men.
He confirmed the situation over the duo in his press conference ahead of the game.

They’ve both been in brilliant form recently and have played a vital role in United’s unbeaten run, with Rojo forming a solid partnership with Phil Jones in defence and Ibrahimovic scoring each week up front.
It’ll be a massive blow if either of the pair are unavailable for the clash and it seems Mourinho is still unsure over their fitness as he wasn’t able to confirm their return.
It’s a shame that they’ve been taken out whilst they were in spectacular form but hopes are they can pick up from where they left off once they’re fit and ready.
