Man United’s Sean Goss in line for January loan move to QPR – report

by Sam Peoples

QPR are interested in signing Manchester United youngster Sean Goss in January, reports the BBC’s Simon Stone.

Goss, 21, has been playing for Man United’s U23s this season having not been afforded an opportunity by Jose Mourinho but it sounds like he’s caught the eye of QPR boss Ian Holloway.

Having gone out on tour with United when Louis van Gaal was boss, Goss’ potential hasn’t gone unnoticed at United either but due to squad depth he hasn’t had a chance and a move to QPR, either on loan or permanently, could be appealing.

Goss was in action with United’s U23 on Monday night and grabbed the headlines with a lovely whipped cross that was headed in for the winner. He’s certainly a lad who has some great potential:

Unfortunately for Goss a serious injury in March 2016 curtailed his progress as he was ruled out for the season but now he’s back fit again QPR are looking to bring him in.

At 21, Goss is at the crossroads as to whether he’ll have a career at United and if QPR did want him on a permanent deal there is a chance United would be willing to agree to that. We’ll have to see what happens with but Joe Riley joining Sheffield United on loan today, United are active and maybe there will be something official announced about Goss too.
