Memphis Depay has arrived in Lyon to complete his January move from Manchester United.
As we covered earlier on Wednesday, a deal had been agreed between Lyon and Man United for a fee in the region of £16.7m, rising to £22m with add-ons, to sign the Dutch winger.
Now he’s landed in Lyon, Memphis will be able to undergo his medical which is the final hurdle for his transfer to be completed. Once that is done, an official announcement can be made.

Memphis moving to France is an opportunity for him to re-kindle his stagnating career. It’s a place where misfits like Mario Balotelli and Hatem Ben Arfa have recently gone on to breath fire back into their own careers and Memphis will be keen to follow in their footsteps.
For Lyon it is a potentially excellent signing but it all depends on what Memphis shows up in the French League. Will it be the one whose struggled for two years at United or the Memphis who finished as the top scorer in the Eredivisie? If it is the latter than Lyon could be in for a treat.
We’ll bring you official confirmation on the Memphis deal as soon as it announced by Lyon and United.
