Anthony Martial annoyed with Jose Mourinho’s treatment at Manchester United

Anthony Martial has been left annoyed by his treatment at Manchester United since Jose Mourinho took over at the start of the season, according to reports in France.

His entourage are growingly frustrated with his lack of game-time this campaign as he’s been in and out of Mourinho’s starting XI, managing just two goals in 13 Premier League appearances this season.

The Frenchman is currently not injured but has been continuously overlooked by the Portuguese boss and was dropped for Man United’s trip to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

SFR Sport claim Martial’s are representatives irritated with Mourinho’s management of the 21-year-old.

He has struggled for form under Mourinho this season and was even linked with a January loan move to Sevilla by his agent following his shaky start to the campaign.

Martial deserves to be starting each week as he’s already proven his talent, finishing last season as the club’s top goal scorer, but it’s all about finding his feet under Mourinho.

If there’s one thing he can take from Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s situation at the club, it’s that if he works hard he’ll have a place in the side and it seems Mourinho sometimes understands the needs of players better than they do themselves.
