Marcos Rojo missed Manchester United’s game against Stoke City on the pitch but he made up for it by joining our fans in the away end.
Jose Mourinho said Rojo wasn’t able to play Stoke due to an illness which is a shame given how good his form has been but the Argentinian defender made the most of his opportunity by getting in amongst it. Michael Carrick would be proud.
It’s not the first time he’s done it either. Last year at Anfield there was Phil Jones, Carrick and Rojo in the away end. Fair play to him, that’s one way to win a few reds over.
I’m eating humble pie about Rojo in every sense of the word this year. His form on the pitch has been superb and little things like this, joining in with some reds in an away end, is a sure fire way to change the fans’ opinion of you.
