They released a video on Pogba’s Instagram account on Tuesday of the pair dancing with youngster Timothy Fosu-Mensah behind the camera at the club’s training ground.
It’s not the first time they’ve shown off their moves on social media, as they’ve performed plenty of well-choreographed celebrations on and off the pitch this season.
However, Ferdinand claims the rehearsal would have never happened under Sir Alex Ferguson at United.
“I’ve dug out Arsenal players for things like this before and it would be wrong of me not to speak about the United players,” he said.
“I’m all for having fun and I think part of Pogba’s appeal especially is that he is a happy free spirit which I wouldn’t want to take away from. But I think there’s timing and there’s getting the balance right when you’re doing these things.
“If that comes out just after you’ve just got to a cup final, you’ve won the cup final, won the league or something like that, listen I’d be pushing that out all over. I’d be the first one to be doing that.
“Looking at myself, the way I think about it, we’re fifth in the league, we’re fighting for the Champions League position, we haven’t got our hands on any silverware yet. I’d want to keep myself under the radar a little bit until we get to that point.”
While it’s great to see the pair getting on well and enjoying themselves, the timing wasn’t the best as United had just lost their unbeaten run, even though they got into the League Cup final.
However, they are still young and should be able to enjoy themselves as it could have been something much worse then a simple dancing video.
