Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expecting a tough test from Manchester United’s trip to Leicester on Sunday evening.
Jose Mourinho‘s men face Leicester City at the King Power Stadium as the defending Premier League champions sit in 16th place, two points off relegation.
Man United managed a remarkable unbeatable run earlier in the campaign and after stumbling to a loss and a draw against Hull City in the League Cup and the Premier League in recent weeks, will be looking to get back to winning ways.
Speaking about the fixture, Mkhitaryan has opened up about how United intend on claiming all three points.
“Everyone was impressed last season but this is football,” he said. “They were ready to fight, ready to win and they won the title.
“This year is a little bit difficult for them because it is always easy to win the league but it is difficult to keep it.
“Maybe they have some problems, maybe they are already a little bit relaxed so they are not in the best position for themselves.
“It doesn’t matter which position they are in now, they are going to play every game as a final because they are in a dangerous position. Sunday will be a big fight, a big battle, so we have to be ready for that.”
Following the draw against Hull City, Man United must win against Leicester if they want to remain within touching distance of the top four.
Jose Mourinho‘s side missed a vital opportunity to move out of sixth place, but after failing to move forward, cannot stumble to the same mistake once again.
