Mkhitaryan and Mata were both on the scoresheet at the King Power Stadium having scored either side of Ibrahimovic’s second which took him to 20 goals for the season.
United’s next top goalscorer is Mata but he only has eight and speaking after the 3-0 win over Leicester, Juan said it was a problem United’s players needed to address.
“The first was an incredible goal and after we played very good and scored twice more,” he said
“We are happy today because today we took the chances.
“It’s very important for Mkhitaryan and I to score because Zlatan’s scoring a lot but we need goals from us too.”
United’s finishing was the biggest difference against Leicester and we still could have a few more than three goals in all honesty but it was enough for the all important win. For me, it was the biggest change today and it’s the small margins affecting our season.
Mkhitaryan’s goal was a bit of magic and he looked a different gravy against Leicester, so fans will be hoping that creates momentum he carries into Watford next weekend.
As well as that, Mata had one goal which could so easily have been two or three had his own finishing been completely on point. We crafted chances galore.
Next up is Watford and United have gained three hugely important points on Arsenal and Liverpool today and if our finishing stays at the level it was today, another three points is definitely on the cards next week.
