Eric Bailly has sent a message to supporters following what was a superb return to Premier League action against Leicester City on Sunday.
The Ivorian missed eight games at Man United due to international commitments with Ivory Coast at the African Cup of Nations last month.
He made his return today and produced a characteristically powerful performance against Claudio Ranieri’s men, comfortably dealing with the likes of Jamie Vardy and Shinji Okazaki all afternoon.
The 22-year-old took to social media to express his enthusiasm in light of his return to action under Jose Mourinho.
Feels good to be back with my team, great result. ????

Bailly, not so long ago, was trudging off the pitch following a 1-0 defeat to Morocco, thousands of miles away in Gabon as his Ivory Coast side – one of the pre-tournament favourites – crashed out of the AFCON at the first hurdle.
This time around, however, he was effortlessly pocketing Jamie Vardy, the man who helped fire Leicester to Premier League glory last season. His expression was stony as ever, but you could tell that Bailly, following a difficult month, was brimming with quiet satisfaction at the King Power Stadium, finally able to do what he does best: obliterate defenders all afternoon until, eventually, they just kind of give up.
