Manchester United supporters were full of praise for Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s performance during their side’s 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League.
The Swede, heavily derided during the week for a substandard performance against Hull City, refused to give Leicester’s back four a moment’s peace at the King Power stadium.
He added his 20th goal of the season in the first half with a crisp low strike to put Jose Mourinho‘s men two goals ahead before half time.
Man United fans were quick to heap praise on the 35-year-old following what was a truly bombastic performance.

20 goals for the 35 year old Ibrahimovic now. One of the best centre forwards to have ever played the game.

This was, in many ways, the perfect response to a shambolic performance against Marco Silva’s side last Wednesday. Zlatan took to the pitch like a man possessed, brimming with a mixture of deadly instinct and seething determination.
Some of the Swede’s performances this season have been hallmarked by not much more than a crucial goal, but his display against Claudio Ranieri’s side was different: he was simply everywhere, bullying Robert Huth and Wes Morgan all afternoon and producing an array of sumptuous touches and passes, bringing the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marcus Rashford into the game, ensuring that United were on the front foot on a regular basis.
United fans will be desperate to see this Ibrahimovic as the season steadily approaches its climax.
