Manchester United will head into their game with Watford on Saturday full of confidence following an emphatic 3-0 win over Leicester City last weekend.
Jose Mourinho‘s men, clearly determined to bounce back after a miserable 0-0 draw with Hull City, were ruthless against the champions, killing off the game with three goals inside nine minutes.
Man United fans will be desperate to see the same levels of conviction going forward against Walter Mazzarri’s men.
And with that in mind, here are three players the Portuguese must start on Saturday.
The Spaniard settled last season’s home game against Watford with a stunning late free kick, and following a sublime performance against Leicester – hallmarked by a beautifully taken in the 49th minute – Mourinho will want to hand him another chance to impose himself out wide.
Some say that Robert Huth hasn’t slept since Mkhitaryan’s demolition job at the King Power Stadium last weekend. The Armenian was in full bloom, simply unstoppable going forward and seemingly impossible to even mark. He was both the catalyst and final touch to United’s newfound attacking fervour, and one suspects he’ll be the first name on the team-sheet this Saturday.
The Frenchman recently dismissed all reports suggesting he was unhappy at Old Trafford, making it clear that he was fully committed to his endeavours at United, evincing cries of support from fans desperate to see him return to his former self once again. His inclusion on Saturday, therefore, would be somewhat timely.
