Jose Mourinho could be without defensive duo Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo for this weekend’s clash with Watford in the Premier League.
Jones picked up a knock during Man United’s 0-0 draw with Hull City last week, whilst Rojo came off at half-time during the 3-0 win over Leicester City last weekend.
But aside from the aforementioned pair, Mourinho’s men have a clean bill of health heading into the game on Saturday.
Eric Bailly made a sensational return to action at Leicester after a month away on international duty, displaying his usual levels of grit and power at the back alongside Chris Smalling, and it seems like the pair will once again feature from the start against Watford in the absence of Jones and Rojo.
Michael Carrick will also make a return to the starting XI after being rested over the weekend, but doubt remains over whether Rooney can mount a challenge to start in light of Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s sheer masterclass against the champions last Sunday.
Either way, Mourinho will know that he has the luxury of being able to choose from an array of options this weekend.
