Henrikh Mkhitaryan has insisted he wants to continue working hard at Manchester United this season.
The Armenian was consigned to a lengthy spell on the sidelines under Jose Mourinho during the early stages of the 2016/17 campaign after struggling against Manchester City back in September.
However, ever since starring during a 4-0 win over Feyenoord in November, Mkhitaryan has been an effervescent force at Old Trafford, with his latest demolition job coming against Leicester City last weekend.
The 27-year-old took to social media to insist that he would continue to work hard this season.

There appears to be a powerful element of trust between Mkhitaryan and Mourinho. Many questioned the 54-year-old’s decision to sideline the 27-year-old for so long, but such a sabbatical proved to be the best possible thing for Mkhitaryan’s fortunes at Old Trafford.
He had time to watch, judge and learn the ways of English football, and upon his return you could tell that the Armenian had digested some important lessons. Suddenly his positional sense was more acute; his work rate and judgement of space had developed massively; his conviction in front of goal, perhaps more than anything, had dramatically sharpened.
It has been something of an evolution, and supporters will hope to see it continue over the next few months.
