Manchester United not worried by recent Marcus Rashford reports

Manchester United are not concerned about recent reports claiming that Marcus Rashford was stalling over signing a new contract due to being unhappy with his recent game time under Jose Mourinho.

It was reported by the Times earlier this week that Rashford, in light of a recent lack of starting opportunities at Old Trafford, was unhappy at Man United.

However, it was later reported by M.E.N‘s Samuel Luckhurst that the 19-year-old was perfectly happy with his situation at United.

And according to ESPN sources, United are not worried about the validity of reports claiming Rashford was stalling over a new deal.

I can’t understand how the Times’ report on Rashford gained any traction at all. How can a major news network claim that the 19-year-old was stalling over a new contract when they know, perfectly well, that he signed a new deal over the summer? Sorry, Mr Trump, but this is what you call ‘fake news’.

Either way, one only needs to glance at Rashford’s overall demeanour to realise that the Times were wrong. He remains a supremely hard-working, fearless influence under Jose Mourinho, who would have taken note of the way Rashford fought his way back into the starting XI over August when it comes to considering long term plans.
