Manchester United Starting XI vs St.Etienne: Romero; Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind; Fellaini, Herrera; Mata, Pogba, Martial; Ibrahimovic.

Subs: De Gea, Darmian, Rojo, Schweinsteiger, Lingard, Young, Rashford

Jose Mourinho has named a strong Manchester United side to face St.Etienne tonight at Old Trafford but there are some notable changes.

Marouane Fellaini replaces Henrikh Mkhitaryan and David de Gea is given a night off with Sergio Romero starting in goal.

Man United need to try and secure an advantage heading into the second leg next week because the last thing we want heading to France is to be behind or drawing if St.Etienne manage to grab an away goal.

It will be a loud away end tonight with the travelling St.Etienne fans in full voice all day in Manchester and although it doesn’t have the glamour of the UEFA Champions League, United need to go out there and put on a performance worthy of a European night at Old Trafford.

The game kicks off at 8.05pm. It is live on BT Sport in the United Kingdom.
