Manchester United fans were thrilled with Marcus Rashford‘s performance against Blackburn Rovers in the FA Cup Fifth round.
The Englishman has been forced to play on the wings with Zlatan Ibrahimovic‘s summer arrival, with reports claiming he was stalling over a new contract after being left frustrated by his lack of game time.
However, he answered back in perfect fashion, finding Man United’s equaliser as Blackburn took the lead early through Danny Graham’s opener, showcasing his talent whilst dribbling around the goalkeeper to finish off Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s beautiful assist.
Here’s what fans on social media had to say about his performance.
Rashford's goal shows exactly why he's gonna be a striker long term and Martial will probably continue as a winger

Rashford needs more playing time playing up front. Wasted on the wing.

I'm far from Rashford's biggest fan but he's so much better centrally. Pretty useless out wide to be honest.

So happy for Rashford 👏👏👏😊

I see Rashford is starting ST again. Essential minutes to keep ST movements and positioning sharp.

It’s incredible to think about what Rashford has been able to achieve in the year since his senior debut, as he’s just racked up 50 first-team appearances at Old Trafford.
The 19-year-old sits in a spectacular position extremely early in his career and there’s no doubt he’ll be learning from one of the best forwards in the game in Ibrahimovic like a sponge as he looks to lead the line when the big Swede takes his career elsewhere.
Hopes are he can continue to work hard as it’s clear that he has what it takes to go on and become a top player underneath the Portuguese boss.
