Manchester United have been drawn against Rostov in this year’s UEFA Europa League round of 16.
The ties will be played on March 9 and 16. As Man United were drawn second, it means the away game will be played on March 9 just four days before we play Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter-final.

It’s a tough draw for United in the sense that it will be long old trip to Russia but we certainly avoided some tough ties against the likes of Ajax and Roma. I can’t see Jose Mourinho being too happy with it though as the only thing he wanted to not have was a long trip – we’re going to Russia.
United will be firm favourites to go through to the quarter final off the back of this draw and are almost certainly one of the favourites to win the whole competition.
