The Englishman has been sidelined with an injury and has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford exit as he’s endured a lesser role, losing his automatic starter status for club and country.
There were doubts over his future at the club and reports only intensified as the Chinese Super League is set to close this week, however, he squashed all claims and insisted he was here to fight for his future.

“Yep (In squad), in the right moment he made his statement, I told you before that the questions were for him,” he added.
“He is training with the team, no doubts he will be involved on Sunday.”
There were doubts over whether he’d feature anyway, but it’s brilliant news for Mourinho as he’ll be able to utilise his captain’s skillset as the club challenge for silverware on four fronts.
Hopes are he can keep himself fit and re-find his form if he has any hope of cementing his place back in the first-team.
