Manchester United follow up their 1-1 draw with Bournemouth by embarking on a massive round-trip to Russia to face FC Rostov in the Europa League.
We play Rostov only four days before our trip to Stamford Bridge on 13 March in the FA Cup and Jose Mourinho will no doubt be rotating his side but who comes in and out?
Here’s a potential Man United starting XI to face Rostov including a few changes:
Presumably Eric Bailly was rested against Bournemouth so he could start against Rostov? Either that or the Ivorian wasn’t fit to play on Saturday but he’s back in this team alongside Marcos Rojo. Luke Shaw also keeps his place but once again that inclusion is very much down to fitness issues and whether he’s ready.
Up front the inclusion of Ashley Young is a defensive option on the right for Mourinho, somebody who will offer him much better defensive cover than the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard. It’s a pragmatic move but European away games are about pragmatism a lot of the time.
